Head of Operations – Planning & Pre-opening Services and Editor of the immensely popular WelcomZest Magazine, Gautam has been with ITC for 25 years. His current focus is on planning new hotels, public spaces and restaurants for the company.

After the success of ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru, his energies are now focussed on the new ITC Hotel in Chennai.

A Modern School, New Delhi alumnus and a History Honours graduate from St. Stephen's College, he is a quintessential Delhi man who loves rock music and contemporary Indian English literature.

Passionate about travelling, his experiences inform the ideas he brings to the development of new hotels and restaurants, transforming them into opportunities to create bespoke experiences.

Appointed to the Board of Advisers to Delhi Tourism, he also is an executive committee member of the Experience India Society as well as a founding member and treasurer of the recently registered Cuisine India Society.
